You don’t have to worry about a thing: Simply put your belongings up for rent and/or rent someone else’s, and we will take care of the rest! Thanks to our in-house insurance for your rental items, our secure payment system and our user-driven rating system, we can assure you a hassle-free rental experience.

 

  • Owner

When you deposit your ad on renting it is better, you will have to estimate the value of the deposit. This amount reflects the current value of your property subject to our approval. The value of the deposit for your object is necessary since your request for reimbursement in the event of a possible dispute will depend on this estimate.

An owner is allowed to request a refund request in the following cases and your deposit will be refunded as follows:

1. The object is returned with aesthetic damage, but it remains functional. A maximum amount equivalent to 15% of the guarantee requested will be refunded to you.

2. The rented object is returned broken, with defects in performance but repairable, there are two options:

  • The Renter can repair the property within 7 (seven) days after the termination of the agreement at his expense, without having to pay additional fees to the Owner. Repairs must be made by the Renter so as to return the object to its original and functional state as received upon taking possession.
  • If the Renter does not wish or the Owner does not allow him to repair the object at his expense, an amount equivalent of  50% of the Guarantee requested will be refunded to you. The Renter will be released from its monetary obligations against you.

3. The rented object is broken and not repairable. The total value of the Guarantee will be paid to the Owner by rentingisbetter.com.com.com.

  • Renter

A rented object requires special attention, especially when it belongs to another person. So you have to be twice as vigilant.

That said, sometimes an accident can happens. Do not be uncomfortable, we planned the shot.

Before booking, check the value of the deposit of the object. This is important because claims for possible litigation will depend on it. We recommend you to rent the object where the deposit is lower. 

Before you to process the secure payment, you have two options to know:

  • Subscribe to the internal insurance of rentingisbetter.com.com.com that allows you to insure safely your belongings for all your transactions.
Or
  • Be subject to the deposit in case of any damage that can happen on the rented object.
Let us explain this to you, it's simple but we need your attention.

 

With insurance

If you have subscribed to the internal insurance of rentingisbetter.com you are covered up to 85% of the amount of the deposit requested by the owner.

During your transaction, a withdrawal authorization for an amount equivalent to 15% of the deposit will be made and rentingisbetter.com.com undertakes to remove this authorization when returning the object in its initial state and functional. You will only be charged in the event of damage. We will take care of the rest.

Limit of our insurance policy:

· If you have misused the object.

· If the transaction is fraudulent.

· If you had not completed the rental agreement.

· If the object you rented was not insurable.

· Any other situation that we deem abusive.

 

Without insurance

If you have not taken out insurance, you will be subject to a security deposit equivalent to the value of the deposit requested by the owner of the object. The amount deposited as a guarantee corresponds to the deposit requested by the owner of the object. Do not worry rentingisbetter.com has a right to check the value of the deposit requested by an owner. 

Here is how your deposit can be affected:
